Top Two Tuesday - Cleaning and Organization Tips

Anyone that has been to my house recently {or has a toddler that has run of the house...and oh yeah, likes matchbox cars} knows that organization can sometimes seem like a lost cause. My house seems to be in a constant state of disarray {and MAN do those little matchbox cars hurt when you step on them!} You can imagine how my OCD freaks out little by little every morning thinking about trying to find that other little shoe, Keagan's furry hat or my keys {yeah, that's his new favorite word...right after Mommy...but that's a whole other post}.

I will say though, we're trying to get more organized and slowly but surely we will. I hope. For our sanity. But for the here and now, these are my Top Two Organization Tips {warning, one will be a shameless plug for one of my newest ventures, just a heads up}:

1) A Planner:

For as long as I can remember I've had a planner. I love planners. Love. Them. So imagine my happiness when Randy got me a MomAgenda Desktop Planner for my birthday this year.

It is seriously my saving grace. Between remembering not only my parties, appointments, addresses and, oh yeah, my husband, child and dog's appointments this thing has been awesome.

And look how pretty!

2) Organizing Totes {here comes the shameless plug}

I recently became a Thirty-One Gifts Independent Consultant. What caught my eye and is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite organization items in the world?

Totes.

Seriously, I love these things. The one above is called an Organizing Utility Tote. I have ALL of Keagan's diapers, wipes, lotions, etc. in his changing table. And when we go to Grandma's? Yup, just grab the bag and go.

This one here is the Littles Carry-All Caddy. You know what these are great for? Matchbox Cars. For realz.

This last one though {Large Utility Tote} is my favorite because it has SO many different uses. Trunk organizer, Laundry Organizer...

...or Present Carrier! Perfect for those of us that are traveling all over the place this Holiday Season.

{If anyone is interested in these or other great Thirty-One Products I am holding a Holiday Shopping Event online - simply go here and pick Holiday Shopping Open House - have it shipped directly to you! Guaranteed by Christmas...this event will close on December 8th!}
