No Screaming = Success In My Book
Keagan went in our Sister In Law's family pool this past weekend for the first time. He may not have loved it, but he didn't fuss. Works for me!

30 Day Shred - Week Eleventybillion
I haven't worked out in about 2 weeks.
Well, ok, I worked out last night, but before that it had been two weeks.
Awesome right? Not so much.
I don't even have a good excuse other than I just didn't feel like it. What a great role model I make. ::sigh::
Anywho, my apologies to those few (poor, misguided) souls out there that were looking to me for support, strength and a work out buddy. I've failed you.
I will not be making any grand gestures and promises that work outs will resume and with a vengeance. I will however tell you that with my new job starting next week I'll have a good couple of hours in the AM with which I *hope* to get in a work out...mostly so I can snuggle with Randy and Keagan at night.
To those out there that have stuck with it, GREAT JOB. Really, very proud of you. Eventually I'll be able to catch up with you and not want to die mid-20 minute workout. But for now I'll have to settle for side stitches from jumping jacks and throwing water bottles at Jillian Michaels.

Friday Flashbacks
I've never had an issue with birthdays.
I've never really felt old. And why should I? I'm only 28 for God's sake.
But.
This morning, I officially felt O. L. D.
What brought this on you ask?
93Q Friday Flashbacks.
Now, when I think Friday Flashbacks I imagine Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers and The Eagles. You know, the stuff that your dad made you listen to on those never ending cross country drives but you learned to love and can sing most every song that comes across the Oldies station.
I do NOT however imagine THIS:
(note, this is the uncensored version - open with care)
Now excuse me while I go pull on my granny panties and take my arthritis medicine.

Love Letter - Month Four
Dear Keagan,
I can't believe you are already four months old. It just doesn't seem possible. Where is this time going? Looking back at your "old" pictures it makes me smile uncontrollably to see how much you have already grown.

Lots going on for your this month. One - you are a TANK to the extreme. 19 pounds, 27 inches long. The Dr. is estimating that you are probably going to be about 6'3" when you finally stop growing - making you WELL above Mommy and Daddy's height. All I have to say to this is: College. Scholarship.
You're also teething like it is nobody's business. Drool Factory? Table of One. Needless to say you are perpetually in a bib. Also, it's a good thing Mommy spent $20 on a teether - that Skittles thinks is hers.

You've also made a fascinating discovery. Your feet. Yeah, makes diaper changes a breeze when you are rolling side to side trying to shove them both in your mouth. It's a good thing you're cute.

We've also started transitioning you to yummy solid foods. Mmmmm....oatmeal (blech) and carrots. You seem to enjoy it, but I haven't seen you turn away food yet so I'm not really all that surprised.
You had a busy month filled with trips to Buffalo, trips to Grams, Mommy's birthday and the 4th of July. Such a good baby, and of course you stole the show wherever we went!

I have a feeling the next couple of months are going to include a LOT of motion on your part. As it is you are a HUGE wiggle worm in your crib.

More often than not we find you facing the complete opposite direction from how we put you in there. You are getting close to sitting on your own as well, though admittedly you fall about 10 seconds into it. I have a feeling you'll be scooting around like crazy very soon.
All in all, it has been a great month. You're such a pleasant baby...barely cry unless hungry or wet. You let everyone hold you and just love being talked to. Really, it can't get much better than this, but I know it will.
Love you babe.
