At least this is what Randy is claiming.
In truth the little pieces of sand that somehow got into my beach bag and then weasled themselves into the zoom lens is what broke the camera. Not me. Totally not my fault.
Drat.
BUT, there is hope. We compromised and ordered a new one...can't wait to get my hands on it!
I have a sneaking suspicion I won't be allowed to bring it to the beach again though.

Two years ago...
Randy and I celebrated our two year wedding anniversary last week.
Two. Years.
Goodness, it doesn't seem possible. Where the heck did those two years go? I still remember our first official "date" with a clarity that is disturbing...right down to what jacket I wore (this fabulous plum colored suede knee length coat, loved it) and how appalled I was that he was friends with people I went to high school with (and wasn't crazy about).
Yet, here we are 7 years together, two of those as an old married couple. It doesn't seem possible.
What's in store for the next two years? The next twenty? No one really knows, but if we still look this happy through it all it will be worth every second.

It may not be Vegas...

...but damned if I'm not excited about this trip!
We are spending four days in Atlantic City starting this upcoming Sunday. Can't. Wait.
Needless to say there will be plenty of daquiri swilling, machine playing, all out merriment to be had. Pictures to follow soon.

Somebody has a case of the Mondays.
A line made famous by a movie. Yet, it rings true to life today.
I'm in a funk. I'm not usually like this at the start of a work week...yet this week I can't quite seem to get past it.
Is it because I am on vacation next week? Is it because I had such a great weekend that the thought of being at my desk today depresses me? The sunshine outside? What is it?
::sigh::
Four more days to Friday. Hopefully I'll make it.
